Ridge Road Station Train Races Steamup.
May 19, 2007.

The Upstate Live Steamers got smokin’ once again at the Ridge Road Station sponsored Train Races, Saturday May 19th in Holley, New York. A beautiful, bright & sunny day provided pretty good conditions for the event. Tom Bowdler & crew had the portable steam track up & running by early morning, and by opening time Mike had his Ruby double-header steaming strong. The rather small, but enthusiastic group of spectators were provided plenty of small scale entertainment throughout the day, with trains running including a BAGRS project loco,  a Pennsy 2-8-2, Tom’s award winning (OK, 2nd place) Willi ‘bash’, Roundhouse Forney, and an Accucraft Mogul. A really great day in every respect.
