The Suleski Transportation Engine Maintenance Facility is becoming well know for its services not only to our own equipment, but also for our subcontract services. Recently we entered into a contract with Ernst Transportation Company to paint 5 of their new road units. 3 are rebuilt GP38-2's and 2 are brand new Dash 9's.

Here a photo was taken as all the ETC units arrive on property. The two Dash 9's are in black primer and two GP38-2's are in grey primer. One GP38-2 wears Norfolk Southern livery from it's old owner.

The following shots were taken from inside the spray booth.

Masked and ready 1st coat of blue 2nd coat of blue

Face and rear are masked and painted metallic silver.
After numbers and lettering is applied it is pulled out of the facility.

Later the crews finished painting two of the GP38-2's

Here are the two units off
along the high bridge heading to their home road in Freemont, NH. ST crews will
take them to the interchange and ride back with the scheduled road freight.

Crews are working to finish the last GP38-2 unit to complete the contact.
